Subject - tank type high temperature installations for industrial glass production; object - scientific substantiation and working out of power saving techniques for industrial glass production; methods - mathematic simulation and modelling of thermal physics processes, optimization and statistics; newness - formulation of methodology of solving the problem of power saving in high temperature installations in glass production using the system analysis postulates, working out of the ascertained procedure of mathematic simulation of heating processes in glass furnaces, taking into account the technology specifications; the results-obtaining the new data for heating regimes of glass furnace evaporative cooling system steam generating elements, determination of optimal regimes of glass furnace air cooling, determination of heat exchange mechanism in wide ducts evaporator; the results obtained are used in JV "SKLO", "UkrNIIChimmash", "Energostal" and in NTU "KhPI"; branches of industry - building and metallurgy
