Blazheyevsky M. The application of carboxylic peroxide derivatives in the chemical analysis

The object of study: Chemical and analytical properties of carboxylic peroxide derivatives; new analytical reactions of peroxyacidic oxidation and perhydrolysis. The aim: the investigation of possibilities of practical application of carboxylic peroxide derivatives in chemical analysis. The methods of the investigations: iodometry, potentiometry, polarography, chemilumi- and fluorometry, chromatography, UV/Vis and IR-spectroscopy, termogravimetry, chemical kinetics. Results: The benefits of carboxylic peroxide derivatives application as analytical reagents or analytical forms while chemical analysis of sulfur-, nitrogen-, phosphorus compounds in water medium have been shown. Analytical method of peroxyacidmetry has been developed; methods of analysis for drugs have been proposed. Composition of two test-systems and has been proposed as well as ways of latent blood detecting; preparations "HEMOTEST" and "DELATEST" have been patented and introduced into medical practice of Ministry of Helth Care of Ukraine. Field of implementation: analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, medicine, forensic chemistry.
