Essay

The work is devoted to development of kinetic theory of formation of the non-equilibrium states and structures in solid systems that can be used as materials for elementary units of computing devices. For two-dimensional systems a uni-fied description of all stages of the first-order nonequilibrium phase transition is offered. It is based on the analogy with the decay of supersaturated solid solu-tion that is originated from peculiarities of quality behavior of traveling waves. Analytical and numerical methods were used to study the influence of noises on optical heat breakdown of semiconductor wafer and the appearance optical bistability on excitonic resonance. A new growth mechanism of self-similar quantum dots that were formed via the Ostwald ripening of islands, obtained with heteroepitaxy method, is suggested.
