The dissertation deals with the history of social democratic movement in Halychyna and Bukovyna as parts of the Austrian-Hungarian monarchy at the end of 19th - at the beginning of 20th century. The activity of the national sections of the Austrian social democracy - Ukrainian, Polish, multinational social democratic party of Bukovyna, self-proclaimed, but not recognized Jewish section and others is exposed, complicated inner-party processes are analyzed.
