Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to establishing regularities of influence of chemical composition, obtaining conditions and external factors (temperature, pressure, electric field, radiation) upon structure formation, physico-chemical and optical parameters of non-crystalline arsenic and antimony chalcogenides as well as possibilities of their application as elements for optoelectronics, nanosensorics, holography, systems of information recording. The regimes of formation as well as those of heat and time treatment of glassy, amorphous and nanocrystalline systems providing the targeted complex of physical properties are determined. Energetic parameters are calculated, the mechanisms of charge transport and of polarization of chalcogenide glasses as well as of photo- and thermostructural transformations in thin films are established. The polar state in glasses and dielectric reversive non-linearity in glass-ceramics on their basis have been found out.
