By the dissertation researches the theory and the fundamentals of projection of the special toolholders with elastic ways and the oriented rigidity are created. Toolholders which are using for microregulation of cutting tools, сrushing of a chip during turning and decrease of intensity of self-excited vibrations are created for raise of efficiency of turning. The theory defines conditions of raise of a chatter stability of machining by the nonrigid toolholders and considers orientation of principal axises of rigidity of a toolholder in an elastic subsystem of cutter-carriage, a rule of principal axises of rigidity of an elastic subsystem of cutter-carriage concerning a cutting force direction, recommends relationships of rigidity of a toolholder along principal axises and creates the fundamentals of projection of toolholders with the elastic ways.
