Dissertation is devoted to the solution of important scientific and technical problem - rising of accuracy and reliability natural gas volume and flow rate measurements in its accounting. Based on analysis of scientific, methodological and technical fundamentals the following main limiting factors for gas accounting accuracy were determined: characteristic features of measuring procedures (procedural errors) and measuring devices (errors of a measuring instruments).
