Essay

The object of research: energy processes in hybrid energy supply systems for electric vehicle. The purpose of research: the development of theory of high-effective hybrid energy supply systems for electric vehicles creating based on systematic approach to analysis of energetic characteristics of such systems, methodology of their rational creation, and developing new methods and means to control them. Methods of research: linear and nonlinear differential equations theory, electric circuit theory, electric drive and electric motor theory. Theoreti¬cal and practical results and innovations: the method of defining optimal parameters of hybrid energy supply systems for electric vehicle was developed. There were also developed new methods of control the elements of such systems which allow reaching maximal energy efficiency, ecological compatibility and fuel economy. A new method of detecting current state of charging the source of power of hybrid electric vehicle, which is one of basic figures while organizing the operating of combined power supply systems was proposed as well. The development of different hybrid electric vehicles energy supply systems was based on the results of theoretical and practical experiments. A subject and degree of introduction: the methods of rational creation and control of hybrid energy supply systems for electric vehicles was applied for prototype of various electric vehicles for Ukrainian scientific institute of sources of light, for Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs scientific center of road safety, for Science and Technology Center in Ukraine, for renewable energy institute of UNAS. Effectiveness of implantation: decrease of energy efficiency of autonomous electric vehicle. Sphere of use: autonomous electric vehicle.
