Essay

In the dissertation theoretical and experimental validation of a system to optimize protective forest plants (PFP) in agro-landscapes of Ukraine takes place. The problem solving on landscape-ecological principles makes possible to create efficient systems of PFP, which will provide stable and balanced functioning and productivity of agro-landscapes. Innovative way to solve problems of optimization of the PFP system in agro-landscapes of Ukraine in accordance with landscape-ecological principles is developed. Also it aims to improve environmental state and increase productivity of agro-landscapes through establishing environmentally stable area and optimal systems of PFP. Dynamics, present state, structure, quantitative and qualitative composition of the available land, PFP of different mission and anthropogenic changes in agro-landscapes are analysed. The author developed the following conceptions: to establish stable ESA; stabilize the environment under exhaustive anthropogenic influence; great ecological impact of the PFP; environmentally friendly farming in anthropogenic landscapes; complex forest ameliorative zoning of Ukraine by physic-geographic basis regarding to landscape-typological structure of the territory and intensivity of wind and water erosion; scientific and practical basis to establish on natural-territorial principles national-wide optimal system of the PFP in Ukraine. It is defined the priority of the PFP and the relevant systems if stabilization of ecological space of agro-landscapes.
