Essay

The morphological peculiarities of pleura biopsies under pleural effusions at nonspecific and tuberculous pleurities and tumor lesions were studied. The complexes of morphological signs that characterized different duration of inflammation process of different origin were established. The main signs of neoplastic process in pleura were classified. The rational diagnostic algorithm to determination of true presence of tumor process and its character - primary or metastatic was shown.
