Movchan Y. Conservation of Biodiversity of Ukraine (methodology, theory, practice).

The objects are anthropogenic changes biogeocoenotical cover of Ukraine. The aim is the scientific substantiation of a system of measures for biodiversity's conservation. The methods are intensive (remote and contact, on polygons and transects, geobotanical and laboratorial) and extensive (objective-functional heuristic matrix, SWOT-analysis, conceptual models), ecological-developmental and system approaches. Theoretical novelty of the work is: substantiation, development and approbation of the objective-heuristic matrix as the tool for investigation; analysis of the linkage problem and ecosystem structure indicators and its components in the biodiversity context as well as substantiation of theoretical provisions of a model for scientific base of the biodiversity conservation; system investigation of the environmental biotic components state regularity as resources as well of the tendency in its changes in connection with social context and the State development. The results of the investigation are connected with management activity and decision making process that enables implementation of the sustainable nature use elements, creation of nature reserve fund, realization of the relevant projects: field, informative, educational etc. The approaches proposed were taken into consideration during developing of the state ecological programmes, legal and normative-methodical documents.
