Essay

In the thesis the results of numerical investigations of hydrodynamics and heat transfer processes in monogranulation equipment and in working space of the rotor-pulse apparatus (RPA) are presented. The main features of heat transfer from spherical liquid droplets moving in granulation columns are found. From the numeral researches the main characteristics of laminar and turbulent flows and heat transfer in the cylindrical RPA are found. It is shown that the time variation of most fluid flow features has a character of pulsations. The dependences of main technical apparatus characteristics on fluid viscosity and constructive and regime parameters are obtained. The method of estimation of average emulsion particles diameter after processing of heterogeneous system in rotor-pulse apparatus is developed. The method of optimization of rotor-pulse apparatus constructive and regimes parameters is worked out.
