Essay

A research object is a process of the diamond grinding of superhard materials; a research purpose is an increase of efficiency of forming of precision edge tools from polycrystalline superhard materials due to the use of diamond classified flours with the special relief thick metal coatings in conducting wheels on the base of application of the combined grinding processes with a control of the steady output indexes of treatment in the conditions of different level of vagueness of values of technological parameters; research methods and apparatus are attributes of the theory of cutting of materials, probability and mathematical statistics, electrochemical and electric erosion machining of materials, methods of 3D study of deflected mode, 3D modeling of diamond-abrasive tools, 3D study of parameters of working surface of wheels, specially developed measuring stand on the base of grinding machine-tools with use of modern supervisory instruments; theoretical and practical results consist in developed principles and introduced methods of decision of theoretical and practical problem of forming of precision edge tools from polycrystalline superhard materials due to the use of conducting wheels on the base of diamond classified flours with relief thick metal coatings in combined grinding processes with the steady values of output indexes of treatment; novelty consist in the establishing with use of the 3D modeling conception of deflected mode of tool subsystem "diamond grain - relief thick coating - wheel bond" and grinding system "wheel bond - relief thick coating - diamond grain - machining material" related to the presence of coatings features of interaction of elements of these systems that allowed to offer the new approach to providing of integrity of grains on the stage of sintering of diamond containing layer of wheels and to find out the solution of contradiction between the necessity of the use of grains of the diamond classified flours and durability of their keeping in metal bond by application on them of relief metal coatings with the thickness approximated to the half of size of initial diamond grain; a degree of introduction includes machine-building enterprises and educational attainment; a sphere (branch) of use is mechanical engineering.
