Object of research: magnetohydrodynamic processes in electrotechnical devices with a liquid conductor. The purpose of work: development of mathematical modelling methods of non-stationary processes of electromagnetic control on liquid metal on the basis of the integro-differential equations subject to heterogeneity of environment, design features of continuous moulding systems of metal. Methods of research: the theory of an electromagnetic field, hydrodynamics of the continuous environment, the vector analysis; the concept of secondary sources; the theory of the integrated equations; theories of approximation; numerical methods of the solution of the integrated equations; the theory and applied aspects of numerical differentiation and integration, the numerical solution of the integro-differential equations, the numerical solution of systems of the algebraic equations. Theoretical, practical results and novelty: mathematical models non-stationary magnetohydrodynamic processes in electrotechnical devices of the foundry equipment subject to heterogeneity of environment and design features of systems of continuous moulding of metal are developed. On their basis the analysis of influence on stirring metal process of design data in new system a crystallizer - two-winding induction stirrer of continuous casting machine of billet is carried out. A subject and a degree of introduction: results of thesis are used in G.E.Pukhov Institute of problems of modelling in power of NAS of Ukraine, Institute of electrodynamics of NAS of Ukraine, Physicotechnological institute of metals and alloys of NAS of Ukraine and also recommends to use in development in Joint-Stock Company "Novokramatorsk machine-building factory", Novokramatorsk, Open Society "Yenakiev metallurgical factory", Yenakievo, Joint-Stock Company "Minimetallurgical factory "ISTIL (Ukraine)", Donetsk. Efficiency of introduction: Increase of parameters of quality of electrotechnical devices. Sphere of use: the analysis magnetohydrodynamic processes, optimization of electrotechnical devices.
