Essay

The thesis is devoted to development of general approach for distortion prediction of large scale structures at welding (cladding, thermal straightening) on the base of combined use of general thermoplastic analysis and approximate inherent strain method, and to development of calculating algorithms for realization of the combined approach. Proposed calculating methods for defining of parameters of inherent strain function for typical cases of welding heating according to geometrical typing of the object. The appropriate numerical investigations were conducted for different structures, new scientifical and practical results were obtained, showing high efficiency of using of developed combined approach.
