Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of precision methods of nuclear spectroscopy and application of these methods to study of basic features of nuclear states and structure of these states. New experimental approach to determine the energies of excited states of atomic nuclei is realized. With this method, precision data on energies of levels and gamma-transitions deexciting these levels in 191Ir, 184Re, 181Ta, 178Hf, 177Hf, 177Lu, 99Tc have been obtained. Also, refinement of contradictory or ambiguously interpreted decay schemes for 181Hf, 178Ta, 99Mo has been made possible by this approach. Interaction of the dipole magnetic moment of the nucleus with the electron shell of the atom was investigated. To determine magnetic momenta of nuclei by hyperfine shift of levels of internal conversion electrons, new method is suggested. This method can be applied to nuclear states with different lifetimes. Experimental data on the content of 239Np, 242mAm, 243Am, 242Cm and 243Cm in objects of radiological control have been obtained.
