Essay

Object: nonequilibrium, dielectric, phase and interfacial properties of polar and magnetic fluids. Aim: development of methods of statistical physics and computer simulation for description of processes of transport, dielectric relaxation and phase behavior, as well as their applications to models of real systems. Methods: generalized collective modes, molecular dynamics, reaction field, integral equations. Results: a microscopic approach was developed for studying dynamical and phase properties of polar and magnetic fluids. Inculcation: scientific publications. Applications: theory of nonequilibrium processes, computer simulation, phase transitions.
