Storonyanska I. Interregional economic integration in Ukraine: theoretical-methodological research principles and regulation mechanism

The thesis comprises theoretical-methodological principles of research of processes of interregional socio-economic integration, author conception of interregional economic integration based on spatial paradigm. Such approach allows organically connection of spatial and organizational forms of interregional economic interactions. Attention to estimation of interregional socio-economic interactions is devoted. The modern state and tendencies of socio-economic interactions of Ukrainian regions are analysed, internal and external factors of interregional are determined. The thesis includes analysis of wide spectrum of processes and phenomena that predetermine asymmetry of socio-economic space of Ukraine. Author considers foreign experience and possibilities of its adaptation to Ukrainian realities, directions of regulation mechanism of regional integration processes improvement are proposed, state regional policy tasks in relation to prevention interregional disintegration are determined. The economic-mathematic model of regional system functioning is worked out, it allows to estimate influence of interregional economic interactions on the level of regional development differentiation
