Essay

Theoretical generalization and methodologically new scientific problem solving, which manifested in the development of scientific bases of Crimean forests sustainable use on landscape-ecological principles taking into account the recreational demand increasing and anthropogenic pressure on forest ecosystems is brought into the dissertation work. The obtained results contribute solving the Crimean forests conservation problem and ensuring the forestry transition on scientific basis for its sustainable use. There were identified at the new theoretical level with using complex analysis the cause-effect relationships of the forests present condition in the region according to the foresttipe sippes, revealed decreasing of its productivity and ecological role, structure deterioration, identified and substantiated deficiencies in the forest assessment and accounting, in forest management. There were developed scientific and methodological suggestions on the recreational forest degradation definition, substantiated and offered directions for improving the management system, optimizing the forests structure and its sustainable use principles for the recreational needs and environmental protection. There were developed ecological-silvicultural method of agroforestmelioration works, types of forest crops and agroforestry system measures of the Crimean steppe zone. There were defined and systematized the forest stands environmental features, offered region soil coding. There were substantiated and offered new methodological principles of foresttipe levels determining of Crimean forest types classification. Using the offered scientifically-methodical recommendations of structurally-functional Crimean steppe and mountain landscapes organization improvement and recreational forestexploit improvement according to the standards of permissible recreational loads and principles of environmental education activities, it is possible to provide a systematic decline in the rate of natural landscapes and valuable ecosystems and biodiversity transformation. It will help in conserving the natural resources in the region, improving the environmental conditions, ecological and economic efficiency increasing of production, improving the society quality needs and maintaining Crimean stable progress.
