Essay

The object of research is process of structure formation and properties of the wear-resistant cast irons for process equipment details. The purpose of work is the decision of the important scientific problem of increasing of wear resistance of the savingly alloyed cast irons for details of the process equipment on the basis of development of scientific foundations of formation of their structure and properties at alloying by chrome small quantity, thermal treatment and tests for wearing test. Research methods are microstructural analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis and local micro X-ray analysis, electron microscopy, durometric and dilatometric analyses. Features of structure formation in the low-chrome cast irons have been defined. The thermokinetic condition of stabilization of a carbide phase in wear-resistant cast irons has been established. Diffusion model of austenite transformation in the iron-carbon alloys has received the further theoretical development. The new manganese irons compositions with increased wear resistance have been developed. Destabilization of the eutectic cementite in cast iron 200Г5Х2ТЛ at cooling has been revealed. It has been proved that the developed cast iron 200Г5Х2ТЛ has maximum impact-abrasive wear resistance among the large group of wear-resistant alloys. It has been introduced on industrial enterprise Ukraine with economic effect 200 000 UAH. Expected economic effect has made 2 340 820 UAH. Field of application is metallurgy and mechanical engineering.
