Essay

The dissertation presents the study of biochemical features of tumor growth in animals under condition of low doses fractionated irradiation and promising use of coumarin derivatives of uracil as antineoplastic compound. The phasic interdependence of metabolic changes between malignant tissue and liver functioning is demonstrated and their significance for tumor progression. It is determined that the effect of preliminary low doses fractionated irradiation of the body appears to increase tumor mass of transplanted Guerin's carcinoma and expresses in the creation of preconditions for the intensification of biochemical processes aimed at enhancing the malignant growth.
