Object - electromagnetic processes and power parameters in semi-conductor multilevel converters of frequency. The purpose development of theoretical positions of creation effective from the position of energy asymmetric multilevel converters of frequency. Methods - the theory of electric circuits, decomposition in number of Fourier, switching functions, a method of a space vector, elements of the theory of automatic control, the decision of the differential and transcendental equations, methods of mathematical and computer modeling, "virtual" experiment. Results - are developed variants of schemes of power circuits of multilevel converters of frequency, algorithms and structures of control systems and regulations, techniques for definition of harmonious structure of an input current and a output voltage, criteria and design procedures of parameters of management and power circuits, computer models and tool base for research of electromagnetic processes in system "a source of electric energy - the multilevel converter of frequency - load. Novelty- is certain an opportunity of prevention of circulation of energy between inverters in a phase of the asymmetric multilevel converter of frequency at redistribution of loading of inverters according to rate of a voltage of their sources, the opportunity of stabilization of a voltage on an input of the inverters used in a phase of the converter without the power supply is proved, presence low-frequency or constant components in an input current of the rectifier working on the independent voltage inverter is proved and conditions of suppression of low-frequency components in an input current of the asymmetric multilevel converter of frequency are certain, have received development a method of calculation of the highest harmonics of an input current of the multilevel converter of frequency and methods of formation of a output voltage of the multilevel converter of frequency at reduction of losses of energy by switching of keys and alignment of loading of inverters.
