In the thesis the mechanisms of formation of nano- and heterostructures, initiation and growth of nanocrystals based on АІІІВVІ system compounds have been established as well as the conditions for the creation of such objects have been elucidated. On the base of thermodynamics data and the structural analyses phase equilibriums in the Ga(In, Tl)-S(Se,Te)-O(N) systems were described, the mechanical and electrochemical properties, defect structures of АIIIВVI single crystals and their dependences of pressure, temperature and hydrogenation were clarified
