Lyubchenko O. Theoretical and methodological foundations of socioeconomic development

The object of study - processes of socio-economic development in terms of economic reforms conduction. The aim of study - the development of theoretical and methodological principles of balanced socio-economic development of the region in terms of economic relations transformation by compiling scientific approaches and the use of applied research in the field of regional socio-economic potential formation and management. Methods of study - methods of comparative, structural, functional and situational analysis, comparisons, statistical groupings, mathematical and statistical methods of analysis, clustering, correlation and regression statistical multidimensional economic and statistical analysis, method of grouping, logical and structured, exploratory and normative approaches, methods of economic-mathematical scenario modeling. The practical significance of results lies in the fact that the results of dissertation can be used during the development of documents of legislative, regulatory and programming type, in determination of directions of reformation of regulatory system of regional development and socio-economic potential of regions usage. Scientific novelty of results lies in the fact that it was the first time when a complex model (the complex model units) of region socio-economic development was created; the block of simulation models of socio-economic development was upbuild. Methodology for identification of endo-and exogenous of influence which form the basis of socio-economic potential of the region; methodical approaches to integrated assessment of socio-economic development of the region; the mechanism of economic security conduction; methodical approaches to tax, financial and investment potentials evaluation; conceptual directions of territory and regions development - were implemented. Further developments have got: structure of "socio-economic potential of the region" concepts and terminology systems; system of indicators of socio-economic development, which is based on the principles of systematic approach, complexity, variability (alternative) and acceptable risk; regionally-oriented methodological approach to the diagnosis of economic security of the region, which is based on the identification of two groups of complex criteria; the definition and justification of the problem of complex of socio-economic development of Ukraine regions.
