Essay

The dissertation is devoted to an experimental detection of the features of low-temperature dynamics in fullerites and nanotubes, as well as the dimensional, impurity and quantum effects in the low-temperature thermal expansion of new carbon nanosystems. Quantum diffusion of He atoms in fullerite C60 has been detected and investigated. It has been found that the spatial 4He and 3He redistribution in bundles of carbon nanotubes is of the tunnel character.
