Essay

The object of study: structural processes in the regional economy. Purpose: to develop theoretical and methodological bases of regulation of structural processes at regional level and substantiation mechanisms for the implementation of structural adjustment of regional economies on the basis of socially-oriented model, based on the consistency between actions and the consolidation of efforts of government, business and the public. Methods: spatial analysis, statistics, balance, modeling (including mapping), forecasting and planning, structural analysis and synthesis, monographic and comparative. Novelty: first developed the theoretical and methodological basis for regulation of structural processes in the regional economy, made assessment of structural processes in the economy of Ukraine's regions, grounded organizational and economic mechanism for the implementation of structural policies in the region, improved approaches to the definition of regional priorities, taking into account the activation of market mechanisms in the economic and social spheres , innovation and investment model of regional development. Scope: The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine in the development of policy papers on issues of regional development and the development of measures aimed at improving the organizational and economic mechanism for regulating the territorial and structural processes of regions of Ukraine, Main Department of Economics Transcarpathian Regional State Administration in the development of strategies of social and economic development Transcarpathian region until 2015, in the learning process Uzhgorod National University.
