Essay

Critical phenomena of phase separation in monotectic metal systems Pb-Ga, Pb-Zn, In-Se-Te, In-Tl-Se, In-Tl-Te in the range of limited component solubility and microsegregation in the eutectic systems Sn-Bi, Pb-Sn, Pb-Bi, Pb-Mg, Bi-Pb-Sn were investigated. An influence of the thermo-capillary convection on the phase separation under microgravity conditions has been investigated. Viscosity and electrical conductivity data were used for determination of the phase separation curves, surfaces and critical parameters. Eutectic melts similat to the monotectic ones are considered as two-phase systems of high dispersion ability in a certain temperature-concentration range.
