Shpyliova V. The theoretical-methodological principles of forming of competitiveness of regions of Ukraine

The object of study: processes of socio-economic development of Ukraine in the context of their competitiveness improvement. The aim of study: the study and the development of theoretical and methodological principles and practical recommendations referring to the competitiveness of regions in the transition period improvement. Methods of study: monographic; economic analysis; economical and statistical methods; index and comparative analysis; method of grouping; the system-structural method; economical and mathematical modeling; SADT design method; SERVQUAL method; graphical method. The practical significance of results lays in formation of effective system of regions competitiveness management and control for their competitive position in the globalized environment implementation. Scientific novelty of results lies in fact that it was the first time when the conceptual principles of the strategic management of regional competitiveness were justified; and the economic model of state control over the competitiveness of industrial regional product was developed. Were improved: methodological approaches to the integrated assessment of the modern dynamic changes tendencies; the system of principles of competitive strategy for socio-economic development of regions creating; methods of tendencies and dynamics of Ukrainian regions competitiveness research; approaches to the process of functional conceptual model of socio-economic development of the region planning and development; the general algorithm of control and management of industrial product competitiveness; the strategy of economical growth and development based on the process of regions competitive position strengthening with the next following formation of tools and ways to increase the level of competitiveness. Further developments have got: scientific-theoretical and practical approaches to the disclosure of regional competitiveness concept meaning with the detection of features of regions' socio-economic processes management; the evolution of economic theories of competition, and approaches and factors which determine the competitiveness of regions; the analysis and implementation of integrated assessment of features of Cherkassy region competitiveness formation.
