Essay

The physical and technological fundamentals of multifunctional coatings production by plasma spraying of new composition and structure with high adhesion, cohesive properties were developed. The coatings are produced from powder blends with nano-sized components - complex oxides (aerosil derivatives) and ceramic powders cladded with metal by vacuum-arc methods. The mechanism of influence of nano-sized complex oxides on processes of formation and heat treatment of the plasma coatings was developed. It is shown in the formation of new eutectic type phases and dispersive hardening of metal matrix of coating.
