Shults S. Forming and development of economic space of regions of Ukraine

Object of research: the processes of spatial organization of economic activity and development of the economic space regions of Ukraine. Objective: substantiation of theoretical and methodological principles of spatial-economic paradigm of regional development, identifying patterns of spatial transformations of regional economies and developing recommendations on the formation and development of the concept of economic space regions of Ukraine. Methods: theoretical generalization, analysis and synthesis, structural and statistical analysis, classification, mapping, econometric analysis. Novelty: first defined and grounded determinants of spatial-economic paradigm of development, developed the classification of spatial economic effects on the basis of their resulting impact on the configuration of economic space regions, proposed methodological approach to the structuring of economic space of Ukraine, found the pattern that reflects the relationship between concentration and innovative processes, improved methodological approach to the assessment of price integration Economic Area country. Scope: Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Main Department of Economy Ternopil, Transcarpathian and Lviv Regional State Administration in the development strategies of regions, Lviv City Council to develop recommendations for the improvement of urban traffic.
