Essay

The thesis is the first comprehensive analysys of the funeral laments in Balkan-Slavonic (Bulgarian, Macedonian, Serbian, Montenegrin) folklore tradition. Attention paid to the study of poetical system of folklore as one of the distinguishin features of ethnic culture is caused by actuality of modern ethnology that finds its proceedings in modern cognitive antropology, ethnosemantics , ethnolinguistics and ethnopoetics. Antropologic/ anthropocentral approach that nov marks the whole sphere of the humanities and is based on the principle of "integrity" of culture stresses the importance of the study of the ethnopoetics in the folklore text, that explicates the semantic unity of culture.
