The dissertation covers the integral and complex analysis of structural, semantic and functional aspects of the term in the Humanities. The “meaning-sense” method used in the research enabled to single out stable invariant components in the Humanities in language (dictionaries) and various changeable senses in speech (special texts), as well as to research semantic evolution of the terms and their connotative variety. It has been proved that the transposition and explanation of the term senses are obtained through unification of invariant components with special differential features.
