The thesis is devoted to development of theoretical and methodological and applied the principles of formation and functioning of governance system of food security in the region. The work developed concepts and terminology management system of food security in the region, developed a new concept of strategic management of food sector in the region, suggested a system of complex monitoring of food security in the region, the model of regional food cluster, improved economic model of reproduction of food security, methodical approach to the ranking of regions Ukraine and assessment of production potential of regional agro-industrial complexes.
