Essay

The thesis describes results of an experimental study of the electric conductivity of a set of layered low-dimensional substances under super high current density in point contacts and due to the gas media action. Research was carried out by point contact spectroscopy. As a result parameters of the electron phonon interaction in a number of layered low-dimensional organic conductive compounds and transition metal dichalcogenides have been determined and the point-contact gas-sensitive effect has been discovered. It has been found that the low detection limit for point heterocontacts Au/SWNT upon exposure to dilute NH3 is below 120 ppb.
