The results of the studying of the features of tectonics, stratigraphy, magmatism, metallogeny and geodynamics of the western part of Ukrainian Shield (US) are represented. This part contains a few first-order structural elements: Osnytsko-Mikashevytskyi volcanic-plutonic belt, Volyn, Podillya, and Buzsko-Rosynskyi megablocks and Golovanivska suture zone. The crust within the Volyn megablock was shown to have the nonuniform structure and complex layer-dome structure. For the first time the tectonic stratification of the crust of western part of Ukrainian Shield and the essential role of deformatios in the forming of Precambrian structure of crust caused by horizontal tectonic movements is proved. The stratigraphic scheme of the studying area is improved by the separation of two series and new suites and strata. The evolution of Precambrian magmatism is examined. The heterogeneity of Proterozoic mafic and ultramafic magmatism is proved. The formation and complex division of igneous structures are appreciably refined. For the first time the essential difference of the formation nature of magmatism within Bilokorovychi and Ovruchsko-Vilchanska superimposed paleobasins is proved. The synchronous forming of these structures is denied. The evolution geodynamic model of formation of the crust of the western part of the Ukrainian Shield in the Precambrian is developed. The high prospects of research area for discovery of new mineral deposits, mainly: sulfide copper-nickel ores associated with platinum group metals, molybdenum, gold, diamonds and metal rhenium are shown. The potential oil-and-gas content of heightened jointing zones (traps) of consolidated upper crust of the northern part of Volyn megablock is admited.
