Essay

The thesis is devoted to developing the theoretical and methodological principles and practical guidelines for the formation and operation mechanism of integration of settlements in regional territorial and economic systems. The author developed concepts and terminology of regional economic integration, grounded hypothesis of objectively subjective integration towns in regional territorial and economic systems. The concept of integration is defined as the process of complex socio-economic development of the region. In research the criteria of settlements integration to regional territorial and economic systems were proposed.
