Essay

The object of research is the process of information transfer in heterogeneous computer networks. The subject of the study is models and methods of information transfer in heterogeneous computer networks. Objective: to increase the speed of information transmission in terms of increasing its volume by developing models and methods of information transfer in heterogeneous computer networks. Methods: methods of queuing theory; optimization methods of operations research methods and the theory of dynamical systems; methods of fractal analysis, information theory and the theory of complex systems and methods of functional analysis; mathematical apparatus of fractional integration and wavelet transforms methods of mathematical statistics. Theoretical and practical results are to establish and justify a comprehensive approach to improve the efficiency of information transfer in heterogeneous computer networks based on the implementation of the developed models and methods. Scientific novelty lies in the development and use of models and methods of information transfer in heterogeneous computer networks. The degree of implementation: Metrological Centre military standards of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Kharkiv); the Department of State insurance fund documentation (Kharkiv); design department "Radiocommunication" limited company "Telecard-Device" (Sevastopol). Applications: enterprise telecommunications industry and the development of computer systems and networks; education.
