Inozemtsev Y. Quaternary deposits of Black and Azov sea

Theses is dedicated to stratigraphy, lithology of the quaternary deposits of the Black and Azov seas and to conditions for their formation. The critical analysis of the straton's stratigraphic divisions carried out. For these purposes the Kerch peninsula's stratotypes (Lake Uzunlar, terrace of the Lake Tobechik, Lake Chokrak) is restuded with core drilling. It is established all basic stratigraphic subdivisions of Pleistocene of the Black and Azov seas are built of the same type, according to the transgressive principle, with the gradual change of the semisalt complexes of mollusks in the lower part of the straton to the more salt complexes in the upper part one. The new data of boring in the stratotipic section of the Lake Uzunlar is indicated of independent value of the uzunlar horizon. This one is contained specific malaco- and teriofauna. Age of the uzunlar deposits is 230 thousands years ago approximately and corresponds to the 7-th isotopic stage regarding by TL-method. The real existence of the khvalynsk and new samsun layers with the Caspian fauna is confirmed between karangat and novoevksin layers. The paleogeographic analysis of the conditions of the deposits accumulation is carried out, the sources of the entering of sedimentary material are determined, the map diagrams of the feeding and terrigenous-minrralogical provinces are comprised.
