Essay

The thesis deals with studies of cyanoprokaryotes in different type of extreme environments.Floristic composition and regularities of distribution patterns of Cyanoprokaryota were investigated in mountain canyons, desert rocks and soil, caves and hyperhaline ecotopes in arid and temperate clіmate. Totally, 202 species of cyanoprokaryotes belonging to 52 genera and 16 families were revealed including 9 species new for Asia, 61 species new for Israel and 21 species for Ukraine. Systematic, biomorphological, ecological and geographic analyses of flora were done. The checklist of revealed species was compiled.
