Essay

The dissertation is devoted to determination of a relation between structure of inorganic ion-exchange materials based on oxide and phosphate compounds of zirconium, which are constituents of membrane systems for solution desalination, and ion transport through these systems. It was shown, what the ion-exchangers and membranes, which possess by high mobility of sorbed ions and considerable exchange capacity, are able to provide continuity and increased rate of ion transport. The methods of formation of these properties, which provide purposeful formation of structure on nano- and microlevels, have been developed. The ion transport through these materials is realized in free intraporous water. The inorganic ion-exchange materials have been applied to electromembrane desalination of unconventional fuels like glycerine, which contained additions of vegatable origin, as well as for Ni2+ and HCrO4- removal from aqueous combining solutions.
