Essay

Work in the thesis is directed towards the solution of actual problems of modern seismics, namely the definition of velocity models and the creation of seismic images of anisotropic media. The technology for the explicit accounting of seismic anisotropy, and also the technology for anisotropic decomposition of seismic images and synthesizing velocity models based on anisotropic decomposition are thus developed.
