Essay

The object of study - coupled processes of geomechanics occurring in rock mass around the workings of coal mines. The aim is to develop the theory of coupled processes in the application to rock mass geomechanics, which is based on the development of methods for simulation new combinations of coupled processes and classify them according to the degree of influence on the change in the array of common parameters to determine the spatial and temporal patterns of their occurrence. Methods of study: analysis and synthesis of theoretical and experimental data on the flow and simulation of the complex processes of geomechanics, mechanics of rigid body methods, fluid mechanics, mechanics of explosion, numerical simulation using finite element method. First developed mathematical models and methods of calculating the parameters of the coupled physical processes during the gas filtration in mine opening with roof bolting, during the explosion blast-hole charges, during gas-dynamic processes, during fluid injection into the coal seam. The spatio-temporal patterns of the change of coupled processes parameters established at the base of this models. A criterion for the evaluation of the degree of influence of each of the coupled processes to changes in the common parameters array was proposed to determine whether to take them into account in an corresponding mathematical models. The classification of coupled processes according to the degree of influence to common result were developed. Methodological support application of the theory of coupled processes in geomecha-nics and standard-technical documentation were developed and implemented in the coal mines that regulates the performance of technological operations geophysical diagnostics of underground constructions, taking into account the laws of the coupled processes progress, and provides stability to the workings with roof bolting at the drilling and blasting operations, reduce the costs of implementation and maintenance of workings over the operation life, whereby the actual economic impact of 1 866 900 UAH was obtained.
