Essay

The object of research: electromagnetic transformation of energy based on the electrical machines with permanent magnets. The purpose of research: the scientific basis for optimal structures of magnetic systems for electric machines with permanent magnets, the development of mathematical models, the analytical method for calculation, the technical solutions to ensure the creation of the new electric machines with permanent magnets with improved power characteristics. Меthods of research are based on numerical solution of calculation problems of magnetic field by finite element method in two-and three-dimensional setting based on license software systems COMSOL 3.4 and ELCUT 5.6, as well as on the basis of developed method for magnetic fields analytical modeling in the active space of electromagnetic machines without groove. Theoretical and practical results and innovations: The urgent and important scientific and applied problems of scientific and technical bases development of electric machines with permanent magnets with desired properties and improved power have been solved. The scientific novelty of the dissertation is the holistic and scientifically based concept of new structures designing of magnetic system for electric machines with permanent magnets of linear, cylindrical or disk type with improved power characteristics. A subject degree of introduction: The main results are introduced at PJSC "Zaporozhye transformer factory", Institute of Hydromechanics of NAS of Ukraine, LLC "Energoavtomatizatsiya", LLC, "Ceramics". The scientific results are used in the educational process of NTU "KHPI”. Effectiveness of implantation: The new structures of magnetic systems for electric machines with permanent magnets with improved power characteristics have been developed, field mathematical models were made, analytical method for calculating of magnetic field and corresponding software, which implements the selection of the optimal geometry of the magnetic system on one of the criteria: minimum weight, low cost, high electromagnetic torque was determined. Sphere of use: The results obtained in the dessertation should be used in power plants in Ukraine, project institutes and other organizations associated with the management of electrical systems by using under voltage regulators of power transformers (RPN), municipal services when applying low-power wind turbines and heat generators with adjustable magnetoelectric motors.
