Essay

object - long-term operation of electrochemical accumulators in power supply systems of space-rocket objects; objective - to create methods of providing long-term operation of electrochemical accumulators by controlling the degradation processes occurring in these accumulators; methods - methods of physical and mathematical modeling of electrical, electric power and resource characteristics of electrochemical accumulators, theory of experimental design and statistical methods for evaluation of quality of mathematical models and methods of mathematical prediction, error estimation and so on; equipment - modernized test bench equipment for automatic experimental studies of accumulators; novelty - for the first time proposed the concept of providing long-term operation of power supply systems for space-rocket objects based on the control of internal degradation processes of electrochemical accumulators; on the basis of system-technical approach a generalized mathematical model of electrochemical accumulators was first time formulated, which is based on relationships that describe the main peculiarities of the degradation processes in electrochemical accumulators, which made it possible to develop various specialized mathematical models for diagnostics, recovery, life estimation, prediction of parameters and characteristics of electrochemical accumulators during operation in different modes within the power supply systems of space-rocket objects; created and tested new methods of providing long-term operation of electrochemical accumulators which are based on reducing the impact of degradation processes by restoring the accumulators, using a new circuit design and implementation of special modes of operation and their replacement by new electrochemical systems; created new methods for evaluating of performance of electrochemical accumulators which are based on the research of degradation processes flow intensity in electrochemical accumulators and which allow to perform diagnostics of accumulators, accelerated testing and resource prediction of parameters and characteristics of accumulators within the power supply systems of space-rocket objects; improved known relationships, describing the intensity of the main flow of degradation processes in electrochemical accumulators, which allowed to determine the factors through which it is possible to control these processes; results - are implemented into the work of Yuzhnoye Design Office and EC "ElKor"; industry - space-rocket technics.
