Dissertation is devoted to the identification of the morphological features of the hepatic and biliary system of fetuses and newborns from mothers with iron deficiency anemia, preeclampsia and diabetes mellitus based on detailed pathomorphologic study. Revealed that among the various types of maternal pathology affecting the hepatic and biliary system of fetuses and newborns, the smallest changes caused by iron deficiency anemia, the mild changes caused by preeclampsia and the most severe changes caused by diabetes mellitus. Developed the compensatory-adaptive theory that claim that the weak influence of damaging factor lead to hyperactivity and increased body morphological and functional activity and the severe influence of damaging factor lead to depletion of its functionality. Revealed that the sclerotic process in the liver of fetuses and newborns from mothers with iron deficiency anemia and preeclampsia occur by increasing proliferation of the interstitial collagen types I and III and fibronectin, and in the liver of fetuses and newborns from mothers with diabetes mellitus occur by increasing proliferation of basement membrane vascular collagen type IV. Determined that all maternal pathologies depress cellular part of the liver immune system and activate the humoral.
