The thesis is devoted to the integrated theoretical and experimental solution of important scientific and technological problem: efficiency enhancement of heat-and-power engineering systems via new working media - the ionic liquids and nanofluids. The possible mechanisms of energy transfer intensification at nanoparticle doping in conventional heat transfer fluids are classified and modeling strategy of both nanofluids and ionic liquids thermodynamic and phase behavior is developed.
