Object of research-the concept of living in science, philosophy, and culture. Work is based on the "front model" of knowledge (S.Krymsky). Scientific novelty: for the first time in philosophy raised the question about the status of epistemology life, for the disclosure of which introduced the concept of "biognosis", based on the discourse of life where life is given in "equivocation". Results can be used in the philosophy of science, in courses on epistemology, philosophy of biology and humanitarian analysis.
