Essay

The object of study: processes of socio-economic development. The aim of study: theoretical and methodological basis of the development of services in the region against the background of building of a new type of national economy and formation of post-industrial society. Methods of study: dialectical, synergistic and systematic approach; analysis; synthesis; induction; deduction; generalization; systematization; methods of dialectics; comparative analysis; decomposition. The practical significance of results lays in fact that the main provisions set forth by the author in the present thesis work were adjusted to the level of application recommendations in order to develop the concepts, strategic plans and programs of development and improvement of the policy of service industry regulation. These provisions can be implemented in the practical activity of regional governing bodies and local administrations. Scientific novelty of results lies in fact that it was the first time when the scientific and practical approach to provision of spatial development was developed; a spatial model of service industry positioning was built; a service industry concept development against the background of post-industrial society was developed. Were implemented: methodology of research of problems of management over formation, operation and development of services in the region; the set of principles for the development of services in the region; the integration approach to the formation and development of an integration model of public-private partnerships in the service industry at the regional level. Further developments have got: approaches to the study of paradigms of postindustrial society.
