Essay

The dissertation work is devoted to important scientific and technical problems of today - improving the measurement accuracy of liquid flow rate and volume in the technological networks. The paper identified the factors have prevailing impact on the metrological characteristics of liquid flow rate and volume transducers, comprehensive research trends for measurement processes and ways of improving flow rate meters. The methodology for determining the hydrodynamic flow characteristics was created, existing criteria for the heterogeneity of fluid flow amended, new principles for determining the asymmetric flow were developed. The quantitative and qualitative development of asymmetry fluid flows due to local hydraulic resistance at the site of measurement outlined. The new mathematical models were created and existing mathematical models were improved for tachometric, hydrodynamic and ultrasonic fluid flow transducers, describing the interaction of the measuring fluid with such devices design elements.Theoretical and experimental investigations were realized to determine influence of fluid flow hydrodynamic parameters on the transducers nominal characteristics. The adequacy of mathematic model and experimental data was appreciated by statistical criteria of Fisher and Student. The optimization analysis results of transducers structural elements define specific conditions of devices use like the place of local accommodation and spatial orientation, which is important for practical industrial applications.
