Essay

On the base he methodology the ability to identify processes of contact interactions in the nanoscale wear rate and forecasting of the service life of tribosystems with the application of the parameters of acoustic emission of radiation that is generated during the friction friction contact have been theoretically and experimentally proven. The methodology includes a continuous assessment of the technical condition of the frictional contact surfaces and the application of acoustic emission criteria for assessing of the condition of the friction surfaces with a certain stage of the kinetics of the process of wear. The resulting model of self-organization of the surface layers of tribosystems allow to define the mechanisms of transition of friction units in abnormally low wear rate. The approbation of the methodology has been performed by defining the service life of precise hydraulic friction pairs and obtaining guidance on the thickness, the physical and mechanical properties and the structural organization of the layers multicomponent multilayer coatings with the application of the acoustic emission method.
